It’s been an entire decade since Will Smith has recorded a title rap for one of his movies, and it seemed like Men in Black III would be the perfect opportunity for the Fresh Prince/galaxy defender to step to the mic one more time.
So, the producers of the movie did the logical thing … they hired Pitbull?!

Family Reunion of the Day: Will Smith recently reunited with his Fresh Prince of Bel Air castmates James Avery (Uncle Phil), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), and Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton).

Debunked Rumor of the Day: Will Smith’s son Trey took to Twitter to debunk In Touch‘s report that his father and stepmother are separating after 13 years of marriage.
UPDATE: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have released a statement officially denying reports of their separation: “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”
Celebrity Separation of the Day: In Touch is reporting exclusively this morning that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have separated after 13 years of marriage.
TMZ reached out to Pinkett-Smith’s rep Karynne Tencer, who said “What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this… Lord. I’m going back to bed.”
According to Billboard, Will Smith told MTV in 2006 that divorce was not an option for him. “With Jada, I stood up in front of God and said, ‘Til death do us part.’ So there are two possible outcomes. One, we are going to be together till death, or two, I am dead.”
In a 2009 interview with Ebony, Pinkett-Smith recounted a conversation she had with Smith after he proposed: “I said, ‘Understand this, there will be no divorce’. So, you might be in one bedroom and I might be in another, but we’re gonna be under the same roof and we’re gonna be married.”
The couple have two children together, 10-year-old Willow and 13-year-old Jaden. Will Smith has a son from a previous marriage, 18-year-old Willard Christopher Smith III.
Celebs Are Not Like Us of the Day: Will Smith’s $9,000-a-week, 1,150sq. ft. Men In Black III trailer — nicknamed “The Heat” — comes complete with a lounge, a movie room, office space for 30 people, a full-service kitchen, a master bedroom, an all-granite bathroom, marble floors, and matched-grain Italian cherrywood cabinetry.
But Smith’s SoHo neighbors aren’t all that impressed. “The smell that comes along with it is disgusting,” says SoHo resident Brigette Moreno. “It’s like living in a gas station.” Local shop owners are similarly unhappy with the 53-foot behemoth. “This is killing our business,” Greene Street Antiques co-owner Anessa Rahman told the New York Post.
Adding insult to injury is the fact that Smith has rented a five-bedroom apartment nearby for the duration of the shoot. “Everything about him is excessive,” a broker who worked with Smith is quoted as saying.

Celebrities Are Not Like Us of the Day: Apparently having to sit among the plebes in a flying bus for less than an hour was too much for the Fresh Prince to bear: The Daily Mirror reports that Will Smith caused a bit of a stir among employees of Aer Lingus, when he snubbed the Irish national carrier in favor of a £10,000 private jet upon discovering that a 50-minute flight from Dublin to Manchester did not offer first- or even business-class accommodations.
This despite the fact that the airline apparently poured the VIP treatment on pretty thick for the Karate Kid remake producer, making special arrangement to ensure a pleasant travel experience. “We know he is used to traveling in style but we were really put out,” an airline worker is quoted as saying. “It surprised everyone,” added another, “because it’s a short flight and economy is still very comfortable.”
