Fictional President of the Day: Bill Pullman, one of the most ass-kickingest presidents in American history, has once again been called to serve the nation’s highest office for an NBC pilot about life in the White House.
The sitcom in question, 1600 Penn, follows the misadventures of a dysfunctional family that just so happens to be The First Family. Hilarity will undoubtedly ensue.
Pullman is set play President Dale Gilchrist, a former Marine who retired with distinction (no doubt for leading an American assault against invading alien forces).
The Book of Mormon‘s Josh Gad, co-creator of the show, stars as Pullman’s son. Brittany Snow has been cast as First Daughter.
