Scenes From A Raid of the Day: New York-based filmmaker Casey Neistat (previously) works near Occupy Wall Street’s now-former homebase in Zuccotti Park.
When he learned of the imminent raid, he immediately grabbed his camera and headed down to capture the unfolding scenes. He ended up sticking around for 18 hours until the Park was finally reopened at 6 PM — and was one for the first to enter after the gates were unlocked.
This is what he saw, appropriately set to Frank Sinatra’s version of “Theme from New York, New York.”
