Beyoncé has released a new video, and it’s pretty depressing.
In this 11-minute, black and white “retrospective short film” called “Yours and Mine,” she reflects on her career and celebrates the one-year anniversary of the release of her surprise album, “Beyoncé.”
It’s very dark and moody, and in it she talks about life, death and the burden of being a famous diva.
“I sometimes wish I could be anonymous and walk down the street just like everybody else,” she says. “When you’re famous no one looks at you as a human anymore. You become the property of the public. There’s nothing real about it.”
Can we please start a new meme for “Brooding Beyoncé?”
