Follow Up of the Day: Last night, FOX 25′s “undercover reporter” Mike Beaudet made every effort to excuse his shameless smear campaign against popular Mystic Valley Regional Charter School English dept. chair Kevin Hogan.
Hogan, it seems, starred in three gay porn movies while in between teaching jobs last year.
Despite the fact that Hogan hasn’t starred in any adult films this year, and certainly none since joining Mystic Valley in August, and, most importantly, that there is nothing even remotely illegal going on here, Beaudet had no qualms about ambushing him over his porn past.
While Beaudet, and, presumably, FOX 25, seem to think nothing of Hogan being placed on administrative leave and his job being in jeopardy, many student, parents, and viewers are outraged, and have flooded the station with angry letters.
WFXT commentator Doug VB Goudie remarked on the channel’s morning news broadcast that viewers were split 80/20 in their response to the report — 80% being “against us.”
Additionally, a Facebook page calling on FOX 25 to fire Mike Beaudet has racked up nearly 1,500 likes overnight, and a petition in support of Hogan is reportedly being circulated in Malden.
