
Occupy Movement News Update of the Day: Members of some of the largest labor unions in the country will join Occupy Wall Street demonstrators this afternoon to march on Wall Street from Foley Square.
Occupy Wall Street organizers are expecting several thousands to participate in the march, which is set to start at 4:30 PM.
A protest permit was being sought in order to avoid a repeat of the March on Brooklyn Bridge, which resulted in some 700 arrests.
The New York Daily News is covering the march live on its site. MoveOn.org is hosting a “virtual march” in support of the 99%.
