Kickass Kid of the Day: 11-year-old football player Dumias Jimerson is so good at scoring touchdowns that the Wilson Intermediate League of Malvern, AR has banned him from the endzone using an obscure league rule.
According to the Madre Hill rule — named after a former NFL player who also dominated the Wilson Intermediate League as a kid — if Jimerson makes 3 touchdowns in a game and his team is ahead by 14 or more, he’s not allowed to score again. That’s a bit of a handicap for a kid who’s already scored 7 TDs in a game this season.
The rule only applies to fifth and sixth graders, though, so Jimerson will be free to score as often as he wants when he hits seventh grade next year.
