Narcing On The Narcos of the Day: A Houston-area man is accusing three police officers of eating his pot brownies just before they arrested him for drug possession.
His proof? They “tweeted” about it.
19-year-old Nicholas Hill had just baked a fresh batch of space cakes for his buddies when the police came knocking. Searching Hill’s apartment, the cops found pot and the tray of brownies, which, according to the Atascocita resident, they knew were laced with weed before proceeding to consume.
After arresting Hill and two of his friends, the police officers reportedly began to exchange rather incriminating messages via their patrol car computers. “So HIGH…Good munchies,” read one; “[e]verything should be open when we get done,” responded another.
“If they actually are true, then we’re talking about is destruction of evidence. That’s a felony,” said Hill’s defense attorney Daniel Cahill. “We’re talking about official misconduct. We’re potentially talking about police offices driving around the city of Houston high on drugs, conducting official police business while high on drugs. It’s a pretty big deal.”
ABC 13 contacted Houston PD, which said the officers in question will be tested for drugs and investigated. Hill’s drug possession case remains open pending internal affairs’ conclusion.
