Snakes Almost On A Plane of the Day: A man was stopped by TSA agents at Miami International Airport as he was attempting to board a plane with seven exotic snakes and three tortoises stuffed down his pants.
He was promptly arrested for being in violation of the Lacey Act, which prohibits trade in illegally obtained wildlife.
According to the TSA, a similar incident occurred around the same time at LAX, where a woman was arrested on suspicion of smuggling endangered species after she was caught with two birds strapped to her body inside socks.
