Big Baby of the Day: Clocking in at a whopping 16lbs. 1oz., the newborn son of Longview, Texas residents Janet Johnson and Michael Brown was welcomed into the world not three days ago, and may have already set a new state record.
JaMichael Brown outweighed doctors’ expectations by 4 pounds, sending record keepers scurrying to see if the boy was Texas’s biggest baby yet. According to nurses at Good Shepherd Medical Center, infants JaMichael’s size are usually between 3 to 6 months old.
“I can’t believe he’s that big,” said Johnson. “A lot of the baby clothes we bought for him will have to be returned. They’re already too small for him to wear.”
