When Moon Bounces Attack of the Day: 13 people sustained minor injuries when three inflatable structures took flight during an Oceanside United Soccer Club event in Oceanside, NY.
Several children were reportedly inside the bounce houses when a strong wind lifted them several feet in the air. “It was the craziest thing you ever saw,” a witness told ABC News. “The next inflatable that two of my kids were in started bouncing and sliding. I tried to catch it, and it just flattened me.”
The 13 who were injured were treated at local hospitals and released. “I don’t think there’ll be any criminal charges,” said Nassau County police officer Eric Evensen, “but I’m sure there could be some civil.”
