Photo of the Day: A split-second before a runaway horse dived hooves-first into a crowd of spectators at the Grand Annual Steeplechase in Warrnambool, injuring seven people.
Of the seven, two remain in hospital, but are listed as being in stable condition.
Said Racing Victoria chief executive Rob Hines: “You’d have to say you could do with less excitement but it was a hell of a spectacle.”
