Won’t Somebody Please Think Of The Children of the Day: High-profile attorney Gloria Allred is representing a man from Fresno who says he was threatened by Atlanta Braves pitching coach Roger McDowell after he commented on the inappropriate nature of some homophobic remarks McDowell directed at “heckling fans.” (McDowell has since apologized for his behavior, and has been placed on administrative leave.)
Allred and the complainant, Justin Quinn, convened a press conference in which they presented the allegations, helpfully including a bat-assisted simulation of anal sex performed in front of the Quinn’s 9-year-old twin daughters (starts @ 1:54).
Quinn’s case apparently rests on the notion that if someone is going to traumatize his kids, it should be him.
