Simpsons Did It of the Day: Apparently the producers of Two and a Half Men sensed Charlie Sheen’s implosion was imminent, and had an emergency finale prepared for when the fateful moment inevitably arrived.

Flowchart of the Day: “How To Pass Throught a Door” by Isadora Dantas.
She explains the impetus for her seemingly-unnecessary infographic:
Talking to a friend, we arrived to a conclusion that people here in NY are not very good in holding the door for others, and in case we do hold for them, sometimes they may pass through it without even saying “Thank You”.
Although it’s a very simple process, it may not be clear to everyone, so I created a graphic to illustrate it, and started by pasting it on the entrances of my school. If you feel the same and want to print one for you, you might download it here.

You Don’t Even Pay Rent of the Day: Construction workers at London’s Shard skyscraper — the UK’s tallest building — happened upon a fox that had apparently taken up residence on the 72nd floor of the 80-story building.
Nicknamed Romeo by Shard staff, the sly creature had apparently entered the building through the central stairwell, and kept himself alive by subsisting on scraps left behind by workers. After being captured, Romeo was fed and given a check-up at the Riverside Animal Centre in Wallington.
“We explained to him that if foxes were meant to be 72 storeys off the ground, they would have evolved wings,” said the centre’s founder Ted Burden. “We think he got the message and, as we released him back on to the streets of Bermondsey shortly after midnight on Sunday, he glanced at the Shard and then trotted off in the other direction.”

Timely E-Card of the Day: TVLine’s Charlie Sheen Meltdown FAQ says “Chances are the [Two and a Half Men] series finale aired last week.”

Porn Parody of the Day: So the three-hour-long, shot-for-shot remake Reservoir Dogs porn parody happened.
Filmmaker / Bleeding Cool stringer Jeffrey Laub, who taught a college course on Reservoir Dogs, reports from the set:
When I visited the set of Reservoir Dogs XXX, I was allowed to see a copy of the script. After flipping through several pages, I realized that I was holding a copy of the original Reservoir Dogs script by Quentin Tarantino, with a ‘Reservoir Dogs XXX‘ cover page stapled to it.
(sNSFW, Reservoir Dogs porn parody.)

Charlie Sheen Meltdown Update of the Day: Charlie Sheen told Radar he’s getting is own show on HBO, but HBO quickly denied the claim. Earlier, Sheen texted (?) Good Morning America to say that he still plans to show up for work on the set of Two and a Half Men, even though the show’s production was put on indefinite hiatus last night.
