Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear Closing Statement of the Day: Jon Stewart takes aim at “the country’s 24-hour-politico-pundit-perpetual-panic-conflictinator” (AKA the press) during the only serious/sincere — and only worthwhile, IMO — portion of today’s Rally to Restore Sanity.

Money: “We live now in hard times, not end times.”

iPhone Table of the Day: Table Connect allows you to control your iPhone with a 58” multitouch surface that doubles as a pieces of furniture.

Simply download the Table Connect App to your jailbroken iPhone and hook it up to the table. Needless to say, FaceTime just got a lot more interesting.

A video presentation of the prototype should be up on the official Table Connect website early next week.

UPDATE: Double News Failure: Apparently that’s not the Twitter Quitter in the photograph, but rather Lovato’s Camp Rock costar Anna Maria Perez de Taglé. Don’t feel bad, CNN: All teen pop stars look alike to me too.

Art Project of the Day: Aram Bartholl has been going around NYC installing a number of anonymous, offline, public p2p file-sharing networks in the form of wall-embedded USB flash drives into which anyone can connect in order to upload/download random files.

Five of these “Dead Drop” locations have been set up so far, with more to come (including expansion into other cities).
