Pokébus of the Day: This Pikachu-themed bus spotted outside an Osaka kindergarten is just one of many cutesy vehicles employed by Japanese kindergartens and pre-schools to help make the experience of leaving mom and dad less traumatising for the young’uns.

Gmail Function Concept of the Day: Syracuse University Industrial Design student Rahul Mahtani & Yofred Moik imagine a world in which Gmail users can, with the touch of a button and for the cost of a single stamp, convert their e-mail into snail-mail, complete with Google Maps-branded envelope.

Would you take advantage of this service if it were made available?

Sure Why Not of the Day: The Tokyo-based, Takuya Tsuchida-designed KRE House comes complete with a Lambo elevator constructed to match the homeowner’s request: “I want a 9 car garage and be able to enjoy viewing one of them in the living room.”

Like I always say: Whatever floats your car.

Science! of the Day: Mimas, Saturn’s Death-Star resembling moon, one-ups itself in newly released temperature-mapping images that reveal a Pac-Man-like patten on its icy surface.

Tee of the Day:922044:16” by Jared Stumpenhorst.

You may remember Jared from such Lost-themed endeavors as LOST365 (AKA Make Something LOST Every Day) and having to find something else to obsess over once the inevitable LOST backlash destroys his livelihood.

(TFA: One day only!)

Check out his other awesome LOST tee designs at Threadless.
