The Trouble With Twitter of the Day: Apparently the owners of Mobile’s Local 15, Newport Television, didn’t see the humor the rest of the world saw in this rather unfortunate juxtaposition and suspended the station’s General Manager and News Director for a week.
Personally, I would have honored them with some one-off award for being the first to successfully make a gang rape accusation amusing.

Killer Chemistry Cupcakes of the Day: Katherine @ Foodie Friday helped her sister whip up a batch of ultra-nerdy Periodic Table Cupcakes for what was surely the best birthday party this side of Bohrium (named in honor of Niels Bohr, noted party animal).
