Unknown Art of the Day: The many faces of Michael Jackson.

Spotted at CA Boom by Jean Aw (Notcot). Artist unknown.

UPDATE: Unknown artist found! This incredible piece by LA-based artist Kelly Coats is actually titled “Epic Thriller,” and is not a standing exhibit as the above would suggest but a phenakistiscope (spinning optical toy).

Click here for more info and a cool simulation of the artwork in motion.

Scott Hampson:Zombie Twitter Trends

Hampson says: “I have noticed that Zombies get mentioned on Twitter a lot.

Sound advice.

Simpsonized Thing of the Day: Over at Springfield Punx, artist Dean Fraser just put the finishing touches on a highly amusing “Ghostbusters Week.”

Fraser’s habit of restricting himself to only seven days per theme usually means a few choice characters get left out, but I think in this instance he did the classic film justice (even going so far as to Simpsonize both frumpy and fashionable Janine).

Make sure to click thru to the site to check out these illustrations in glorious hi-res.

Earlier: Lost Week.
