PSA of the Day: Unfortunately, this moving business is taking longer than expected (is it too much to ask of our stuff that it unpack itself and put itself away? Seriously), so we’re taking today off to get this mess sorted out.

Not to worry! We’ll be back to our old junk-mongering selves in no time. Meanwhile, why don’t you spend some time getting acquainted with Gay Talese’s legendary profile of Frank Sinatra, “Frank Sinatra Has a Cold.” I know you’ve been meaning to get around to it, and since you’ve got nothing better to do, now’s as good a time as any. You’re welcome.

Be well.

Love,

TDW.

Doorbell Design Concept of the Day: World-class inspirationist Dominic Wilcox imagines the doorbell of the future, which comes complete with a built-in home visitor statistics display.

One commenter at the source gets it just right: “Yes there will be blogs about how to improve your home stats through home decor improvements. And even how to hack the doorbell to bump up the numbers.”
